DO I HAVE THE RIGHT TO MEMBERSHIP TIME-STOP DURING MY HOLIDAY? WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM DURATION OF THE TIME-STOP? WHEN CAN I BE COMPENSATED FOR THIS PERIOD? HOW TO APPLY?

If you have a 12-month contract, you are entitled to time off for your holidays.

You can request from 1 week to 4 weeks maximum/year of subscription.

Your access to Factory 4 services will then be blocked during the requested time-stop period.

For a request made during the year, the free period will be added to the anniversary date of your contract, and not to the requested time-stop period.

To request a time-stop, you can send us an email to info@factory4.lu, or fill out a specific document at our club reception.

WHAT IS A MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSION? IN WHAT SITUATIONS CAN A CONTRACT BE SUSPENDED? WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS?

A contract suspension, unlike the time-stop, applies in the event of a justified inability to use our services.

In the event of illness, injury, pregnancy, or long professional travel resulting in an incapacity to practice sport for more than one month, a supporting document must be presented to reception. Alternatively, a suspension form provided for this purpose will be given to you. The suspension will begin on the first of the month following the date of signing the suspension form and will extend until the end of the period indicated on the certificate. The period during which the subscription is suspended will not count toward the minimum commitment period in the contract. During this period, the member will not have access to Factory 4 facilities. Once the medical certificate expires, the subscription will automatically resume for the remainder of the initially planned duration, without warning. The member is responsible for resuming the subscription. Suspensions are not retroactive, and amounts already paid will remain with Factory 4.

I WOULD LIKE TO TERMINATE MY CONTRACT AFTER THE END DATE, HOW CAN I PROCEED?

Cancellation only takes place at the end of the month. Thus, the registered letter or the termination form completed upon receipt must reach Factory 4 before the end of the month preceding the month of termination (for example: August 31 at the latest for a desired termination by September 30).

I WOULD LIKE TO TERMINATE MY CONTRACT BEFORE THE END OF ENGAGEMENT, HOW CAN I PROCEED?

Members are able to cancel their subscriptions with 1 month's notice in the following 2 situations:

For medical reasons preventing you from practicing sport and proved by a medical certificate (issued by a doctor).

For reasons of moving to a new address located more than 15 km away from the member's home or professional address (whichever is geographically closest to the club). Proof of the change of address must be provided.

All terminations requests must always be sent in writing to the Manager of Factory 4, 4-6 rue François Hogenberg L-1735 Luxembourg.

Upon receipt of the termination request and valid proof, the termination will be effective at the end of the month following the month of receipt of the documents.

Failing this, the subscription will be maintained under the conditions agreed in advance. For cancellations and to prevent misunderstandings, we suggest completing the form provided for this purpose and available at reception.

Any reason or method of termination other than those mentioned above by the member (such as a unilateral cessation of monthly payments via direct debit) will be considered an abusive breach of contract. In this case, all monthly payments for the commitment period for subscription fees will be immediately due. If the member does not voluntarily pay these amounts due, Factory 4 may be forced to call on a collection office in anticipation of collection of the debt.
